The Chairman of Securities Commission participates in the twenty-sixth session of the Ministerial Council for the Economy
The twenty-sixth session of the Ministerial Council for Economy was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fouad Hussein, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Ministers of Finance, Trade, Industry, Agriculture, Labor and Social Affairs, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Securities Commission, Chairman of the National Investment Commission, and the Prime Minister's advisors for economic and legal affairs.
The Council discussed the items on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in this regard. The Council hosted the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, the Chairman of the Federal Board Of Supreme Audit, the Governor of Nineveh and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning to study the obstacles that impede the completion of important service projects such as the Fallujah and Shatra sewers project and the Sennacherib Tunnel in Mosul Governorate. The Council decided to complete the completion of these important projects as soon as possible and solve all the problems that impede their implementation.
The Council listened to an explanation given by the , the Chairman of the Federal Board Of Supreme Audit about the problems that impede the completion of Bismayah housing project in his capacity as Chairman of the committee formed by the Council to study the reality of that project, whose membership includes the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, the legal advisor to the Prime Minister and a number of general managers.
