A joint meeting between the Federal Board of Supreme Audit and Iraqi Securities Commission to enhance confidence in the financial market

In the context of enhancing cooperation and transparency in the Iraqi financial market, His Excellency the Chairman of the Iraq Securities Commission, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, visited the Federal Board of Supreme Audit on Thursday, 2/10/2025, where he was received by the President of the Board, Certified Public Accountant Dr. Ammar Subhi Khalaf.

During the meeting, mechanisms for developing oversight and supervisory work were discussed, as well as ensuring the implementation of the highest standards of transparency and efficiency in financial operations — all in a way that serves the public interest and strengthens investor confidence in the financial market.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of holding a joint meeting between the Federal Board of Supreme Audit and the Iraq Securities Commission to further strengthen confidence in the financial market.

They also discussed enhancing the role of the Securities Commission in monitoring and guiding stock trading operations to promote stability and keep pace with developments in global financial markets.
