The President of Iraq Securities Commission meet the President of Federal Board of Supreme Audit to complete the financial statements and promoting the professional cooperation.

In order to promote effective cooperation between Iraq Securities Commission and Federal Board of Supreme Audit, The President of Iraq Securities Commission, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus met the President of Federal Board of Supreme Audit in a formal visit. The main purpose of this visit is to complete the late financial statements of the financial years of the listed companies.

During this meeting, it has confirmed on the importance of improve the quality of the financial statements with international accounting standards. And reach an agreement about improve the discloser procedures and determine timings in a better way. Also, it has attempted to reduce the duration of preparing the statements according to period that specified in the law of the company.

 In the framework of promote the connection between the two sides, they ensure on their commitment about the reciprocity visits to discuss the common issues and develop the professional work between the Commission and the Supreme.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Federal Board of Supreme Audit expressed his invitation to The President of Iraq Securities Commission to join to the Iraq Accounting Standards Board
