Dr. Mazin Sabah Ahmed Assumes the Presidency of Iraqi Securities Commission.

Dr. Mazin Sabah Ahmed has officially assumed his duties as Chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission, succeeding Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, following the issuance of a Diwani Order appointing him to lead the Commission. This transition comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional work, improve the Commission’s performance, and advance the Iraqi securities market.

The handover ceremony took place in the presence of both parties. During the ceremony, Dr. Mazin Sabah Ahmed presented Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus with a letter of appreciation and a commemorative shield in recognition of his efforts during his tenure as Chairman of the Commission and his contributions to supporting the Commission’s work and developing the performance of the Iraqi financial Exchange.

For his part, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus congratulated Dr. Mazin Sabah Ahmed on assuming the position of Chairman of the Commission, expressing his wishes for success in carrying out his new responsibilities. He also presented him with a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of congratulations, praising his banking experience, professional competence, and qualifications, which are expected to contribute to enhancing the Commission’s performance and continuing its development efforts.
