Iraqi Securities Commission participates in the General Assembly meeting of the Association of Securities Brokers in Iraq

Iraqi Securities Commission participated in the General Assembly meeting of the Iraqi Association of Securities Brokers, held at Al-Alawiya Club, to discuss the association’s budget and final accounts, elect a new Board of Directors for the upcoming term, as well as elect the association’s representative to the Board of Governors of Iraq Stock Exchange. The Commission was represented at the meeting by Mr. Diyar Hammoudi and Ms. Lama Ali, who followed the proceedings of the meeting and the procedures taken in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, in a manner that enhances the principles of transparency and governance in the work of capital market institutions.

The Commission affirmed its commitment to supporting professional and regulatory activities that contribute to the development of the securities sector and strengthen cooperation among market participants, in a way that serves Iraq’s economic development process.
