His Excellency the Chairman of the Securities Commission announced that the Commission has completed the procedures for its registration in the National Electronic Signature Certification System, becoming the first government entity in the Republic of Iraq to adopt this vital system. This marks a significant step forward in the path of digital transformation.
His Excellency further affirmed that this achievement is in line with the State’s directions toward developing government services and enhancing e-governance, thereby contributing to improving institutional performance efficiency and achieving higher levels of transparency and accuracy in transaction processing.
The Chairman also explained that the adoption of electronic signatures represents a qualitative shift in the Commission’s operations and reflects its commitment to adopting the latest technologies to simplify procedures and accelerate transaction processing, enhancing institutional efficiency and elevating the quality of services provided.
He added that implementing electronic signatures will facilitate the completion of official transactions both within and outside the Commission in addition to supporting the digital work environment and strengthening investor confidence in the financial market.
