Press Release - Iraqi Securities Commission

Today, the Prime Minister, Engineer Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, received the Chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus. During the meeting a detailed briefing was presented on the Commission activities, the development of trading activity in Iraqi Stock Exchange, and the measures taken to enhance transparency and attract investment.

The Chairman also presented a number of requests and proposals concerning the Al-Shomali subdistrict, reflecting the needs of local institutions and the public. These proposals aim to support local development and improve services. The Prime Minister graciously approved all the requests.

Iraqi Securities Commission expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency the Prime Minister for his attention and support for the path of reconstruction and development. The Commission affirms its continued commitment to playing its role in enhancing the investment environment and supporting the national economy.
