Chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission Meets with the Acting Head of Mission at the Iraqi Embassy in Beirut

 His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Reza Al-Husseini, Head of the Diplomatic Mission, received His Excellency Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, Chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission, and the accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Iraqi Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, as part of an official visit aimed at enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of investment and financial markets.

During the meeting, ways to strengthen cooperation between Iraqi financial institutions and their Lebanese counterparts were discussed, along with opening new avenues for joint coordination in areas related to the exchange of expertise and the development of investment tools. The discussions also shed light on the reforms being implemented by Iraqi Securities Commission to enance transparency and investor confidence in the Iraqi financial market for his part, the Chairman of the Commission appreciated the warm reception and affirmed the importance of economic diplomacy in supporting development goals and revitalizing bilateral relations in the financial and investment sectors, in a way that serves the shared interests of the two brotherly countries.
