The Fourth Global Investor Day Conference Kicks Off

The Fourth Global Investor Day Conference, organized by the Iraqi Securities Commission, officially opened today in Baghdad. The event saw the participation of distinguished ministers, heads of government agencies, diplomatic representatives, and Iraqi business leaders.

On the first day of the two-day conference, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, Chairman of the Iraqi Securities Commission, delivered the opening speech. He stressed the critical role of the securities sector in supporting the national economy and outlined the Commission's ongoing efforts to enhance the investment climate. He also highlighted the importance of developing new legislation aimed at increasing transparency and building trust in Iraq’s financial markets.

The conference aims to explore investment opportunities, foster dialogue among participants, and emphasize the pivotal role of the securities sector in driving sustainable economic development.

Over the next two days, the conference will feature discussions on a wide range of topics related to investment and economic growth in Iraq.
