His Excellency the Chairman of the Securities Commission met with a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq at the Commission’s headquarters. The two parties discussed several topics related to financial markets and supervisory and regulatory aspects. Emphasis was also placed on the efforts made by the Commission to support the stock market in the Kurdistan Region.

They also discussed future plans to develop the securities sector in Iraq in general, and how cooperation between the Commission and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government could be strengthened in this regard.This meeting is an important step towards enhancing transparency and cooperation in the field of financial markets and enhancing trust.
