The chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission, Mr. Hassan Al-ukaily, participated in the 47th annual conference of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, held in Marrakesh from 17 to 19 October.

During the conference, Al-ukaily reviewed the Commission 's directions in various fields related to finance and financial technology challenges, in addition to talking about crypto currencies, their risks and impact.

He pointed out that the Commission he runs has prepared in the past few months a set of regulations that keep up with international.

According to the chairman of Iraqi Securities Commission, "the most prominent challenge facing the Iraqi Stock Exchange is the need to keep up with the developments in the global markets and try to catch up with the rapid developments in this field, especially those related to technology.

It is worth noting that the annual meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, in which more than a hundred bodies participate annually, as well as the participation of personalities and officials from international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the International Standards Board.
