ISC participated in the meeting of the team of the national initiative to support energy and reduce emissions, which was held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Ministry of Electricity, in the presence of the representatives of the teams from the ministries. This meeting was part of the regular meeting of the ISO National Energy Team.

The meeting was opened by the rapporteur of the national initiative, Shaima Mazhar, by presenting the initiative's achievements and the support it received from higher administrations. She indicated that the Prime Minister directed to expand the scope of the national initiative’s work to include all governmental institutions, in addition to the private sector and other sectors, given the important role they play in implementing the requirements of the governmental program, fulfilling commitments to confront climate changes and supporting the use of renewable energies.
