Today, Tuesday,a ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Securities Commission between the former head of the commission, Mr. Faisal Al-Haymes, and the new head of the commission, Mr. Hassa Al-Ukaily, in the presence of the commission’s advanced staff and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Iraq Stock Exchange, Mr. Thaer Adnan Hashem, and the Executive Director of the Iraq Stock Exchange, Mr. Taha Ahmed Abdel Salam, and the President of the Securities Brokers Association, Mr. Ali Al-Mukhtar, The reception and handover ceremonies began with the speech of Mr. Faisal Al-Haymes, the former head of the commission, in which he welcomed the new chairman of the commission, Hassan Al-Ukaily, wishing him success in managing the securities sector during the next stage, stressing at the same time that there is a great deal of work awaiting him, especially the capital markets sector and ways to advance and develop it. According to a new vision and philosophy, and the need to complete the draft law of the commission. For his part, the new head of the commission, Mr. Hassan Al-Ukaily, extended his thanks and appreciation to his predecessor, Mr. Faisal Al-Haymes, and expressed his pride in what was achieved for the commission during a short period of his administration.
